About Lauren

Lauren is passionate about health and nature.

She maintains her fitness through her two favorite activities of YOGA and HIKING (not slaving away at a stuffy gym).

She wants to help YOU get FIT and have more ENERGY while you ENJOY the BEAUTY of North Idaho.

As a foundations certified Energy Medicine Yoga® teacher, she will show you simple ways to pick your energy up so you can feel more vibrant and self confident.

FAQs

  • Tuesday and Friday Tubbs hill hikes are two miles long and approximately 60 minutes. Our route is Tubbs hill in Coeur d Alene which is a beginner friendly hike but does have rocks and uneven terrain. Special event hikes may be longer, 3-6 miles but in the beginning we will stick with shorter distance hikes.

  • First, make sure you have a doctor’s release for a beginner two mile hike and participating in yoga. Ideally you have been doing some walking or other fitness this winter. However, if you need to work up to the two mile hike by not doing the full distance in the beginning, that is totally fine. Contact Lauren with your questions to go over any concerns.

  • No dogs please for our regular Tuesday and Friday Tubbs hill hikes. We may allow dogs at some special event hikes pending group approval. However, it’s likely you will meet someone in this group that wants to hike with their dog too and you can plan some dog adventures with your new friends!

  • Tuesdays hikes are currently from 8 AM to 9:30 AM and Friday hikes are from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. You are welcome to manage your own time and leave sooner if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. Perhaps you can adjust your schedule so you can make either or both days as often as possible. It’s not necessary to be there every time. Whenever you can make it is great.

  • You absolutely can! You can show up and do the 10-15 minutes of yoga with the group and then hike faster by yourself if you want or even go for a run. The events can be a nice accountability feature to make sure you get in your workout in.

  • No problem! Energy Medicine Yoga® and Lauren’s teaching style are very accessible for beginners. This is a great place to start yoga for the first time.
