Soulful Strides includes

Tuesday mornings at 8 AM, we meet for 10-15 minutes of gentle standing movement, featuring Energy Medicine Yoga®, followed by a 60 minute, two mile group hike on Tubbs Hill led by Lauren. We are done by 9:30 AM.

We will meet most Fridays of the month at 10 AM for 10-15 minutes of gentle standing movement, featuring Energy Medicine Yoga®, followed by a two mile, 60 minute group hike on Tubbs Hill led by Lauren. We are done by 11:30 AM.

Each month will feature a fun 60 minute outdoor yoga class led by Lauren in beautiful downtown CDA.

Get access to several pre-recorded yoga with Lauren classes ranging in length from 5 to 60 minutes so you can yoga from home or while traveling.

As a Soulful Strides member, you’ll get access to the member’s only online community to connect, make new friends, find partners for outdoor adventures, and stay motivated on your goals.

About Lauren
Lauren is passionate about health and nature.
She maintains her fitness through her two favorite activities of YOGA and HIKING (not slaving away at a stuffy gym).
She wants to help YOU get FIT and have more ENERGY while you ENJOY the BEAUTY of North Idaho.
As a foundations certified Energy Medicine Yoga® teacher, she will show you simple ways to pick your energy up so you can feel more vibrant and self confident.
Lauren’s positive, can-do attitude will inspire YOU to move forward with what you REALLY want to do in your life.

The Tuesday and Friday hikes are two miles long and approximately 60 minutes. Our route is Tubbs hill in Coeur d Alene which is a beginner friendly hike. Special event hikes may be longer, 3-6 miles but in the beginning we will stick with shorter distance hikes.

First, make sure you have a doctor’s release for a beginner two mile hike and participating in yoga. Ideally you have been doing some walking or other fitness this winter. However, if you need to work up to the two mile hike by not doing the full distance in the beginning, that is totally fine. Contact Lauren with your questions to go over any concerns.

Tuesdays hikes are from 8 AM to 9:30 AM and Friday hikes are from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. You are welcome to manage your own time and leave sooner if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. Perhaps you can adjust your schedule so you can make either or both days as often as possible. It’s not necessary to be there every time. Whenever you can make it is great.

You absolutely can! You can show up and do the 10-15 minutes of yoga with the group and then hike faster by yourself if you want or even go for a run. The program can be a nice accountability feature to make sure you get in your workout in.

No problem! Energy Medicine Yoga® and Lauren’s teaching style are very accessible for beginners. This is a great place to start yoga for the first time.

This will be determined about a month after the program opens and Lauren will be polling the members for preferred days and times for special events. It’s likely special events will be various days and times to meet a broad range of schedules.
